The decision’s made, you want to move home. But suddenly there’s so much to do, so little time, and it’s turning into a nightmare.

Does that sound familiar? If so, the Homemover Specialist team can help.

Our approach is simple: you delegate every aspect of your move to us, from preparing your house for sale, finding you the perfect property to unpacking and organising your new home and getting your broadband up and running. We do all the leg work, iron out all the hassles — all you have to do is make the key decisions and move in.

Whether you’re buying or renting, the Homemover Specialist Concierge Home Move service works like this…

Stage 1: Consultation

We meet at a time and place to suit you for a thorough fact-finding session. Every move is different and we establish your requirements whether that be preparing your house for sale, finding you a home to move to – either buying or renting, managing the sales process, or managing the move itself, furnishing, unpacking and organising your new home. A report is then drawn up

Stage 2: Finding your perfect property

No time to find your next home? Or don’t know where to move to? If you want us to find your next home, whether buying or renting, our next step is to draw up a shortlist of potential homes for you — and not just those you’ll see advertised for sale or let. From our shortlist, you choose the properties you want to view and we’ll accompany you, offering you our informed and impartial advice.

Stage 3: Completing the deal

No time or inclination to optimise your home’s potential before sale? If you want us to prepare your home for sale, we assess the property internally and externally and prepare a comprehensive plan to ensure the right first impressions for both the estate agents and their prospective buyers. We strive to make your home as warm and welcoming as possible; clutter free and bright so they can picture themselves living there.

Stage 4: Managing the sales process

No time to or experience in managing the conveyancing process? If you want us to act on your behalf managing the sales process, then that is exactly what we will do. Negotiating fees, chasing contributors and making sure everyone is working for your best interests and to an agreed timetable.

Stage 5: The Move

No time or energy to unpack all the boxes once you’ve moved? If you want us to set up your new home for you, then that is exactly what we will do. We take pictures of your old home and replicate it as closely or as sensibly as possible. Let us set you up in your new home as quickly and efficiently as we can, leaving you to enjoy the house rather than stress over your unopened boxes for weeks.

We’ll even run a nice, hot bath for you — well not quite, but you can be confident that we’ll stay with you on moving day until every last detail has been ticked off our list.

And then you can truly say you’re home!

If you’re coming to the UK from overseas, we can also offer you a full Relocation Service.

Case Study

Recently separated, Mr. W urgently needed a new place to call home. Work commitments meant he was out of the country and he was struggling to find a solution.

We stepped in, found a beautiful house near his 2 children’s school; we furnished it, sorted out the white goods and utilities, made up the beds and unpacked his bags and his belongings, found a cleaner and gardener to maintain the property for him and filled the fridge so when he got back from work all he had to do was open a bottle of beer and relax.

“I cannot recommend The Homemover Specialist too highly.  Meirion was utterly brilliant from the moment I picked up the phone to her.  She made all the arrangements for the move, sorted out my utilities, internet and Wi-Fi and did all the unpacking.   She also purchased beds, bedding, kitchen equipment and stocked the fridge and larder.  This was all done with charm and efficiency.  As a result, what could have been a miserable experience (leaving the matrimonial home after a separation) was transformed into something much more bearable.  I would not hesitate to use her again.”  Mr. W from Sevenoaks
